If this commenter is right, this district can't walk and chew gum at the same time apparently so it's budget business only until the next diversion the board majority feels it can score points with.
I certainly hope these sentiments penned by Mr Anonymous aren't from a board member even as I realize it could have been. I hope the board sees the exigency of Ms Donaldson's values affirming idea.
The Tattler will report on this evolving story.Brian Donahuehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12705682112476904502noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8394711926853801811.post-5231656087037548532020-05-26T18:43:14.458-07:002020-05-26T18:43:14.458-07:00This sounds like it came from the school board (ex...This sounds like it came from the school board (except Susan D). What’s this talk of too much time spent? How long could it take to write a letter? 15 minutes? And how much time did the board spend deciding on naming the gym after Abrami? The district is hemorrhaging money but the board spends the better part of an entire meeting picking who to name the gym after. It was OK to do that but not apologize for a bigoted breach of the public trust after ruining a teacher’s life? There’s some serious soul searching that needs to be done at this district. But, there is too much time spent on a matter that happened last century; and, this Board is presiding over a budget that is hemorrhaging. Let's pay attention to some more important current problems!
