I'm really concerned about the uptick in serious crimes at 45th and San Pablo Ave. as it is now becoming very unsafe. There are gang members and some very unsavory customers frequenting the newer businesses in the area such as "Cash for Gold". I'm pretty sick of it and I feel the city is ignoring the problems as they are becoming exponentially worse. According to the city, they say "cash for gold" is a financial institution and is allowed on San Pablo. I say it is a pawn shop and second hand jewelry store that is not allowed. I would like the city to take a look at the increase crime in our neighborhood since these low end businesses have arrived in our neighborhood and do something about it.
