Breaking News:
Cryptocurrancy Bro Jesse Pollak He sees a good investment in Courtney Welch. |
Councilwoman Welch has flat out denied allegations of being a corporate Democrat from many progressives in the East Bay and she has publicly punched back against any making the allegation.
Mr Pollak is part of a group of very wealthy right wing campaign donors who are funding the anti-labor candidacy of John Bauters for County Board of Supervisors and to swing the recall campaigns against the Alameda County DA and the Mayor of Oakland.
After the election, Ms Welch will presumably have a harder time denying she is a corporate Democrat (unless she goes with a Trump style double down).
Yeah, she's going to go right on denying she's a corporate Democrat.
ReplyDeleteTime to MoveOn.com!
ReplyDeleteAnyone who BD doesn't like is now a right wing/anti-labor. Some of us still prefer less fanaticism/anger in our political discourse. Smearing John Bauters for admirably trying to find a way that family-owned restaurants in Emeryville could survive, while having their employee receive a living wage, is exactly what we should want our elected officials to do. Let's hope sanity prevails both nationally and locally this Election Day.
ReplyDeleteThe race for County Supervisor district 5 has been characterized as a pro-labor vs anti-labor race by many more pundits than me. It is very newsworthy that one candidate in Alameda County has the support of labor and the other doesn’t. But regarding your apologizing for Council member Bauters rolling back the minimum wage for the poorest workers in Emeryville, there’s a man that disagrees with you on that. That man is John Bauters: he apologized to the Democratic Party of Alameda County for having done it when he was trying for their endorsement.
DeleteAn BTW; it is not a “smear” to accurately report a politician’s actions. He rolled back the minimum wage ordinance in Emeryville and the Tattler reported it.
Maybe John Bauters smeared John Bauters when he rolled back Emeryville's minimum wage ordinance.
DeleteWhy did Nextdoor delete your post again from last night? They will ban you soon again if you have so many strikes.
ReplyDeleteWhy? That's kind of fatuous. It's pretty obvious. They like to delete because they don't feel comfortable with dissenting points of view.
DeleteYes, I got how NextDoor works wrong. There’s no algorithm controlling the posts I found out. There are people controlling it. NextDoor is a cesspool of right wing ideology. You know that because you’re a member. News flash, guy: I’m left wing….progressive. Conservatives hate progressives. The question isn’t why did one or two posts get deleted by the Nextdoor moderators, the question is why have so many of my posts gone through.
You may be correct; they may disallow anything from the Tattler in the future. The right wing readers who embrace cancel culture would love that! Maybe you should tell the Nextdoor Moderators the Tattler is hurting your feelings and you want it removed. They may well help you out....because nobody should ever be called out of their comfort zone. Americans (at least the non-progressives ones) are delicate and easily offended. Differing viewpoints should be eliminated from everywhere, don't you agree?
Thanks for commenting, Tattler reader.
