Breaking News: Dianne Martinez, Scott Donahue Appear to Have Won City Council Race

As of 10:15 tonight, with all precincts reporting, Dianne Martinez and Scott Donahue appear to be on their way to securing victories in their respective bids to be the next two Emeryville City Council members.  Ms Martinez appears to have won a decisive victory while Mr Donahue wins with a substantial lead over the next candidate, John Bauters.  Ken Bukowski is trailing in last place.
So called 'late absentee' ballots have not yet been fully tabulated but a campaign consultant at an election night party for the Martinez/Donahue team said tonight there is virtually no way Mr Bauters can make up the difference.

UPDATE 12:24 am  Alameda County Registrar of Voters reports the following numbers (all precincts):

Dianne Martinez   753  or  33.07%

Scott Donahue    693  or  30.43%

John Bauters    587  or  25.78%

Ken Bukowski   240  or  10.54%
